Arthur "Butch" Daubert

August 11, 1942 — March 15, 2017

Arthur "Butch" V. Daubert, 74, of Frederick, MD passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Vindabona Nursing Home and Rehab Center. He was the beloved husband of Kathy Daubert.

Born August 11, 1942 in Baltimore, MD he was the son of the late Vernon J. and Irene Pauline Axthelem Daubert.

Butch was a member of the Lions Club, New Market. After his 32 year career with Bechtel Corporation, he spent his spare time enjoying fishing, painting and carving ducks. He was also an award winner at the Ward Foundation World Carving Competition, Ocean City, MD. He was a devoted husband and he and his wife would have celebrated their 55 year wedding anniversary in August. Butch loved spending time with his nine grandchildren and even got to meet his newest great-granddaughter in October.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Diana L. Amtower and husband Keith Amtower of Orlando and Suzanne M. Richards and husband Ricky of Hagerstown; grandchildren Matthew Day and fiancé Lucie Sargent of Santa Cruz, CA, Lindsay Bolster and husband John of Carrolton, VA, Sgt. Jacob Day of Paris Island, SC, Joshua Przybocki of Ijamsville, Seth Przybocki of Mt. Airy, Kayla Kitler of Havre De Grace, Tra Kitler of Myersville, Curtis Walker of Hagerstown and Isabella Walker of Hagerstown; great-grandson Jack T. Bolster and great-granddaughter Lily A. Bolster.

He was preceded in death by his brother Albert Daubert and sister Pauline Rowland.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 10:30AM at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 701 Green Valley Rd., New Windsor, MD 21776. Pastor Anne Durboraw will officiate.

Interment will be private.
