Arthur Sheckles

Arthur William Sheckels, 79, of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed away on August 12, 2018 at Dove Hospice House in Westminster. He was the husband of the late Gloria Sheckels.
Born on December 12, 1938 in Rockville, Maryland, he was the son of the late James Edward Sheckels and Delma Mae Roberts. Arthur worked for more than 25 years in the Maintenance Division for the City of Gaithersburg.
Arthur is survived by his two children, Sherry Sheckels and Troy Sheckels and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Terrence, Brandon and Cynthia Sheckels; and his sister, Shirley Bellica. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ed Sheckels & Roger Sheckels
The family will receive friends from 10-11am on Friday, August 17, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 8 East Ridgeville Road, Mount Airy, MD 21771. A funeral service will begin at 11am. Interment will follow in George Washington Cemetery.
