Arthur Harding

Arthur Luther Harding, 67, of Brunswick, MD passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Doris Harding for 44 years.

Born August 6, 1949 in Leesburg, VA he was the son of the late James and Velma Ott Harding.

Arthur proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked at N.I.H., Bethesda, MD for 25 years. Arthur was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing and was also a car enthusiast. He also enjoyed attending little league baseball games in Brunswick and loved watching the Washington Redskins and the NY Yankees. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and loved spending time with his family and he would never have missed an event with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Heather Flickinger of Hagerstown, MD and Tanya Payne of Brunswick, MD; grandchildren Courtney, Kyle and Tyler Flickinger and Madison Payne; three brothers James Marion Harding, Bill Harding and Lacy Harding and numerous nieces and one nephew.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Maple Ave., Brunswick on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 6-8PM where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 6 at 11AM. Pastor Katie Bishop will officiate.

Interment will follow at Park Heights Cemetery.
