Archie Thomas Quesenberry, 82, of Brunswick, went to be with His Lord on June 17, 2016. He was the husband of Sylvia Haller Quesenberry for 61 years.
Born in Lucketts, VA, on January 24, 1934, he was the son of the late William Scott Quesenberry and Rosa Quesenberry.
He grew up on a farm and attended school in Lucketts. He later worked at Ford Motor Company, Mrs. Smith’s Pies, High’s Dairy, and retired from the Center for Career and Technology in Frederick. He was also a respected house painter on the side.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Bridget Wiles (Mike), Dennis Dru Quesenberry, Tamara Holley (Bruce), and Shawn Andrews (Chuck), 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. He was predeceased by a grand-daughter Christy Wilson. He is also survived by two brothers, Junior Quesenberry and Abie Quesenberry, and two sisters, Edna Frye and Lorraine Loy, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by one brother and three sisters.
Archie loved his family and loved to spend time with his grandchildren. He was a founding member of Potomac Believers Fellowship and served as a Deacon at the time of his passing. He was a great friend to many and will be dearly missed.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 20 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Maple Avenue, Brunswick. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 21, at Stauffer Funeral Home at 11am with Pastor Chuck Andrews officiating.
