Anthony Saracco

Anthony (Tony) Richard Saracco, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away at the age of 70 on January 25, 2014. He leaves behind his beloved “Wiff” of 45 years, Joan L. Saracco, his loving family and 12 mistreated golf clubs. Born on July 27, 1943 in New York, he was the son of the late Anthony and Jane Saracco.
Tony was an incredible father, an ideal husband and an avid golfer. Retired from IBM after 30 years, Tony spent the last 12 years supervising the Costco gas station in Frederick.
He is survived by his daughters, Jaime Saracco and Kelly (Frankie) Thornton, son in law Richard, and grandson Logan Riley; sister Doreen Swenson and husband William; in laws Carol Lawrence, Sherry and Baron Ogata; nieces and nephew Jenna Lawrence, Holly Ogata, Lisa Losier, Kristine Frias and Timothy Ogata, And not to be forgotten—his devoted Labs, Maddie and Duke.
Visitation will be held at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Friday January 31, 2014 from 6-8 pm. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11:00 am on Saturday February 1, 2014 at St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 118 East Second Street, Frederick. In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted for St. Judes Children’s Hospital and the ASPCA.
