Mr. Anthony T. LoFasso, 89, of Frederick and formerly of Niagara Falls, NY and Kearny, NJ, died peacefully Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Judy M. LoFasso who predeceased him in 1998.
Born December 13, 1924 in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late Vincent James and Mary LoFasso.
Mr. LoFasso worked in management for CVS and Peoples Drug Store, and as a greeter for Sam's Club. He loved hunting, fishing, cooking, gardening and watching old Western movies.
He is survived by two daughters, Cara LoFasso Fritz and husband, Steve, of Frederick, and Kim Mullen and husband, Charlie of Kearny; grandchildren, James, Abby and Khloe Fritz of Frederick, Julie Costello and husband, Ian, of Kearny, and Blake Mullen and wife, April of Kearny; sister, Mae LoFasso of Niagara Falls; and a brother, Jim LoFasso and wife, Doris, of Lewiston, NY.
He will be remembered by special friends, Mitch and Jamie Dawson of Brunswick; Jeff and Debbie Oranzcak of Frederick, and Jack and Becky Fritz, also of Frederick, and their children, Kimmy and Jayden, who will remember him as "Uncle Tony."
A Celebration of Life service will begin at 6 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. Officiating will be the Rev. David Howell.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Golden Living Center and Frederick Memorial Hospital for the loving care given to Mr. LoFasso.
