Annie Cicilia (DiVincenzo) Torboli, 92, formerly of Mountain Laurel Road in Boonsboro, Maryland, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2011 at the Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Born on May 7, 1918, in Hyattsville, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Antinio and Maria (Buccone) DiVincenzo. Her husband, Aldo S. Torboli, Sr. preceded her in death in 1999.
Annie had formerly worked as a volunteer at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Martinsburg, West Virginia.
She is survived by her two sons, Aldo S. Torboli, Jr. of West Virginia and Joseph A. Torboli of Boonsboro; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Annie was preceded in death by her siblings; Joseph, Charles, Frank, Eugene, Rose and Lily.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. Rev. Blaine E. Feightner will officiate. Burial will follow at the Boonsboro Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 11, 2011 at the funeral home.
