Annie Fogle

October 26, 1922 — February 9, 2017

Annie Elizabeth (Leatherman) Fogle, 94, passed away to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Fahrney Keedy Nursing Home in Boonsboro. She was born on October 26, 1922 in Myersville, Maryland to the late Ira and Sadie (Frushour) Leatherman.

She was employed at Dan-Dee Restaurant until her retirement. She was a lifetime member of Harmony Church of the Brethren, Myersville.

Annie is survived by her son, David (Casey) Fogle and wife, Patti, of Myersville; son, Glenn Fogle and wife, Gloria, of Myersville; daughter, Joyce Darner and husband, Bruce, of Middletown; son, Albert Fogle and wife, Kim, of Boonsboro; grandchildren, Glenn Fogle, Jr., Samantha Stottler, Ashley Mason, Nicholas Fogle, Anne Johnikin, Brandon Fogle, and Alexius Fogle; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, George W. Fogle; and her brothers, Paul N. Leatherman, and G. Russell Leatherman.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro.

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 13 at Harmony Church of the Brethren, 3924 Brethren Church Road, Myersville, with the Rev. Paul Leatherman, Jr., officiating.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
