Annette Dayhoff

Mrs. Annette Elizabeth Dayhoff, 82, of Mount Airy, died on Friday, July 22, 2011 at Carroll County Hospital. She was the wife of Carl “ Peanut “ W. Dayhoff, who she married October 15 ^th , 1965 . Born on May 1 ^st , 1929 in Gaithersburg, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Majorie ( Thompson ) Howard.

Mrs. Dayhoff was employed for 30 years as a bookkeeper for M.A. Oland & Son Jr. Landscaping. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 191, Mt. Airy. For relaxation she enjoyed spending time at their place in Deep Creek Lake and trips to Charlestown to play the slots.

Surviving beside her husband are a son, Charles Howard Crabb and wife Lisa of Libertytown, granddaughter Danielle Crabb of Hagerstown, grandson Christopher Crabb of Libertytown, cousin, Martha Lou Bennethum of PA. She was preceded in death by a brother Ralph Richard Howard

Family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy on Wednesday, July 27 ^th , from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Wallace Lusk officiating. Interment in Taylorsville Methodist Cemetery . Memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post 191, 801 Prospect Rd , Mt. Airy , MD 21771 .
