Anne Lee Tomkinson

Ms. Anne Lee Tomkinson, 72 of Frederick, Maryland passed away on Monday, May 11, 2009 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital.

Born April 2, 1937 in Boston, Massachusetts she was the daughter of the late Carroll F. and Blanche Miller.

Anne worked tirelessly for 48 years as an accountant for her father and various companies acquiring significant expertise in Medicare reimbursement. For over 20 years, she was a single parent who sometimes worked three jobs in order for her children to have a comfortable and safe home.

She enjoyed traveling and was fortunate to visit many regions across the country. She particularly enjoyed visiting the family homestead in Deerfield, New Hampshire; the mountains of Colorado, and the beaches of San Diego and Maine. She loved her pets, the piano and the challenge of softball when she was younger.

She is survived by her three children, Donald Tomkinson and wife Pamela of Naples, Maine, Blake Tomkinson and wife Diana of Chester Springs, PA and Leeanne Tomkinson of Frederick, grandchildren, Zachary Tomkinson, Jacob Tomkinson, Heather Vital and husband David, Kaleigh Tomkinson and Gabrielle Tomkinson, and a brother, Duncan Miller of Florida.

She is preceded in death by a brother, Carroll F. Miller, Jr.

Services: Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick with the Rev. Dr. Conrad O. Link.

Interment will be private.
