Anne Vu

Anne Hoàng Thị Vũ, a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, godmother, and friend passed away on February 24, 2020 at age 68.
Anne Hoàng Thi Vu was born in Sàigòn,Việt Nam to Inhaxio vũ Văn Tuy and Maria Nguyễn Thị Hường. She became a village Nurse Midwife. She helped deliver over two hundred babies and was extremely proud of her job.
On August 5, 1973 she married Duong Khac Nguyen and they had 5 children. In 1991, the entire family moved to the United States and settled in Frederick, Maryland.  There she worked as a Technical Nurse in the Operating Room at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She then worked at BP Solar. After years of working she chose to leave the work world and spend more time at home with her grandchildren. She was a devoted mother and very much involved with her children, grandchildren, family and friends. Above all she cherished time spent with her beloved family.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, her son, Tuan Vu and his wife and daughter, her daughter, Teresa Nguyen, her son, Tuyen Nguyen and his wife and children, her daughter, Tram Nguyen and her husband and children, and her daughter, Vanessa Nguyen and her husband and children, and her 12 siblings and their families.

Her family will receive family and friends from 10 AM to 11 AM on Monday, March 2, 2020 at Saint Katharine Drexel Catholic Church located at 8428 Opossumtown Pike Frederick, MD 21702. The funeral mass service will follow at 11 AM at the church on Monday.
