Anne Plantinga

Mrs. Anne Pryor (Dyson) Plantinga, 71, of New Market died Saturday, September 12, 2015 at her home. She was the loving wife of Thomas E. Plantinga.
Born February 18, 1944 in Norfolk, VA, she was the daughter of the late Edward James and Ruby (Crump) Dyson.
Anne completed her working career with BAE Systems as a financial analyst. She was an avid reader and enjoyed her flower gardens. After her retirement in 2003 she enjoyed cruising the Caribbean, solving complex puzzles and, most importantly, doting on her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Catherine Ghosh of Germantown and Dr. Laura Plantinga of Atlanta, GA; one sister, Nancy Sidwell of North Carolina; and two wonderful grandchildren, Arun and Anil Ghosh.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15th at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy. The family will also host a Celebration of Anne's Life at a future time.
