Anne Kelly

Mrs. Anne W. Kelly, 76 of Frederick, MD., passed away peacefully Sunday, May 30, 2010 at her home. She was the wife of the late John J. Kelly, whom she married in 1961.
Born May 7, 1934 in Baltimore, MD., she was the daughter of Dr. Samuel and Christine Tyson Wallace.
Mrs. Kelly graduated from Nursing School in 1955 and went on to join the U. S. Air Force as a nurse, where she served her Country for four years, in Alaska and St. Louis. Anne was a stay at home mom for six years and then returned to nursing. She retired from the Northwest Hospital, in Randallstown after 29+ years. She was an avid sports fanatic playing basketball in earlier years and playing softball on into her 50's.
She is survived by her daughter Christine Whitaker and husband Kenneth and her granddaughter Kelly Anne Reardon all of New Market.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD on Wednesday, June 2, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m.
The interment will be private.
