Mrs. Anna Marie George, 84, of Woodbine, MD died on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at her home. She was the wife of the late Fred L. George .
Born on August 14, 1925 in Fort Black Moore, VA she was the daughter of the late Emmitt G. Rogers and Mary F. Baker Rogers.
Anna's first love was always her Savior Jesus Christ. She loved her family with an unconditional love. Her church family was very important to her. She prayed without ceasing.
She was a mighty Prayer Warrior. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her and that wonderful & beautiful smile that showed all, God's love for them.
She is survived by her 2 sons: Harold George & his wife, Sandra of Laurel, MD., Ted George and his wife Tanya of Jessup. MD., a daughter, Wanda Rollison and her husband Harold of Woodbine, MD., 8 grandchildren: Joseph and his wife Lisa Marie, Carrie Ann, Terrance, Cheryl, TJ, Jammie, Shannon and Christina: 8 great grandchildren , 1 great great grandchild and a sister, Oveland Asbury of Germantown, MD.
In addition to her husband, Anna was preceded in death by a daughter, Priscilla L. George, 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
Visitation: A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at the Stauffer Funeral Home 1621 Opossumtown Pike Frederick from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm.
Services: Funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
