Anna Marie Brown

Mrs. Anna Marie Brown, 63 of Frederick passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2009. She was the loving wife of George Brown.

Born March 31, 1946 in Frederick, MD she was the daughter of the late William J. And Christina A. Onley.

Anna was a member of the Pleasant View United Methodist Church. She was very active in her church where she served as an usher, secretary, treasure and communion steward.

She was a systems analyst with GEICO in Silver Springs for 38 years.

She loved her church, spending time with her family and she was an avid reader.

In addition to her husband George she is survived by her three sisters, Helen Sewell and husband David of Frederick, Keena M. Moore of Frederick and Dianne Onley of Point of Rocks, two brothers, James Olney and friend Anna of Hagerstown and Kevin Onley and wife Judy of Knoxville, mother-in-law, Fern Brown, brother & sister-in-laws, Margaret L. Lee, Robert F. Brown, Harold E. Brown and wife Freda, James V.G. Brown and wife Annette, Ronald S. Brown, Mildred Diane Thompson, Angela I. Brown and Donald K. Brown and wife MIA all of Frederick, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

She will also be remembered by all of her special friends from church and GEICO.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her father-in-law, George F. Brown.

Services: Funeral services will be held at Maranatha Church of God, 123 Byte Drive, Frederick on Tuesday, April 28 at 11:00 AM where the family will be present to receive friends one hour prior. Pastor Thomas Cook will officiate.

Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
