Anna Mae Biddinger

Mrs. Anna Mae Irene Biddinger, 77 of Jefferson, MD., passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Donald E. Biddinger, her husband of 59 years.
Born October 14, 1935 in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Helen Blank Coyle.
Mrs. Biddinger retired from the Unemployment Division of the State of Maryland after 23 years of service. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Jefferson. She enjoyed growing flowers and won best of show in the Frederick Fair several times. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, camping, fishing, dancing and hosting family gatherings.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Debbie McLeod of Jefferson, grandchildren Nicholas Zittle and wife Casey, Ashley Strakonsky and husband Mitchell and Courtney McLeod and fiancé Ryan Penner, great-grandchildren Cole Zittle, Dalton Zittle and Mitchell “Ryan” Strakonsky, Jr., and her sister Barbara Law and husband Donald. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her brothers Irvin and Luther Coyle and her son-in-law Philip McLeod.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Wednesday, April 3, from 6-9 pm where services will be held Thursday, April 4, at 10:00 am
Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
