Annabelle McAfee

Annabelle Haupt McAfee, 87, of Keedysville, Maryland, has claimed the promise of God for eternal life in Jesus Christ on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at her home while surrounded by her loving family.

Born on December 2, 1924 in Clinton, Pennsylvania, Annabelle was the daughter of the late Marsellus and Florence Haupt.  Her husband, Thomas E. McAfee, Jr., preceded her in death in 1994.
Annabelle served in the United States Army as a File Clerk at the thirty-second Air Force Headquarters in Tampa, Florida.
She was an employee at Victor Hosiery in Hagerstown as well as Hanover Shoe Factory in Middletown, Maryland.
She was a member of the Calvary Temple in Williamsport, Maryland.
Annabelle will be remembered as a quiet, loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by her family.
Annabelle is survived by her two sons, Roger L. McAfee and wife Milbrey, and William F. McAfee and wife Patsy of Keedysville ; two daughters, Linda "Lynn" K. Kline and husband Garry of Greencastle, Pennsylvania and Tina M. Smith of Keedysville; one brother, William Haupt of Roanoke, Virginia; and one sister, Nancy Duncan of Shelby, Ohio. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Annabelle was preceded in death by one son, Wayne E. McAfee; one daughter, Barbara L. Wolfe; a granddaughter, Erin McAfee; three brothers, Clyde, Francis, and Norman Haupt; and two sisters, Iola M. Cline and Gertrude Morton.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at the Calvary Temple, 147 South Cononocheague Street in Williamsport. Rev. Robert V. Robinson will officiate. Final resting place ceremonies will follow at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, September 17, 2012 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, as well as one hour prior to the funeral ceremony at the church.
