Mrs. Anna Myrtle Beachy Renner, 76, of Thurmont, Maryland, passed away Saturday, December
6, 2014 at her home. She was the wife of Kenneth Renner, Sr. her husband of 60 years.
Born November 12, 1938 in Garret County, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Ervin
Herbert and Anna Myrtle O'Haver Beachy.
Mrs. Renner started school in a one room school house known as The Beachy School in
Bittinger, MD. Anna retired after many years at Sears in Frederick and was a homemaker until
her death. She was formally active in the Arthritic Acquatic Program at Mt. Saint Mary's. Anna
was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Kenneth Renner, Jr (Marybeth) of
Thurmont, Patricia L. Cody (Charles) of Thurmont, grandchildren Shanna Heflin Figgins, Jackie Heflin Cramer (Adam), Jill Heflin Waltz (Jeff), Lisa Renner Frederick (Scott), Heather Renner, Kenneth Renner,III and wife Brooke, Donald Renner, Jr and Keith Renner. and 9 great grandchildren, her siblings Herbert Beachy, Jr (Frances), Ira Richard Beachy (Betty), Lois Virginia Kolb (Gurney), Wilmer Ray Beachy (Beatrice, Edward Lewellyn Beachy (Barbara), Eugene Oliver Beachy (Phyllis "Dolly") and Milton Joseph Beachy (Tim), Many nieces, nephews their spouses and children also survive. She was preceded in death by her children Anna Jane Heflin, James Jesse Renner and Donald Eugene Renner, and a brother David Luther Beachy.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home 104 E, Main Street, Thurmont,
Saturday December 13, from 9:00 am until service time at 11:00 am with Pastor Taisie Phillips
officiating.
Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers donations to Lewistown United Methodist Church.
