Anna McCoy

Anna Irene McCoy, loving sister, mother and grandmother, of Sharpsburg, MD passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, November 20, 2015 at the Fahrney Keedy Home, Boonsboro, MD.

She was born on August 28, 1924, in Sharpsburg, MD to the late Roy Asbury and Mary Carolyn Kretzer Bussard.

She was a member of the Church of God of Antietam, Sharpsburg, MD.

Anna was employed at Londontowne Manufacturing for 13 years.

She is survived by her six sisters Phyllis Pierce, Norma Hilliard, Ruby Houser, Judy Renner, Carolyn (Jenny) Rolland, and Connie Knight; her brother Harry Bussard; her eight children:  Janet Martin and her husband John, Mary King, James McCoy, Delores Miles and her husband Dave, Patsy Holder and her husband Marvin, Denny McCoy and his wife Robin, Robin Breese and her husband Newton, and Tammy Dundus and her husband Ted; fifteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and two  great great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her sister Linda Myers and her three brothers:  Daniel Bussard, Calvin Bussard , and Alfredo Bussard.

The family will receive friends at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home at 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD on Monday, November 23, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home at 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD. On Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Jan Wade officiating.  Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery in Sharpsburg, MD.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Resident Activity Association of the Fahrney Keedy Home and Village, 8507 Mapleville Rd, Boonsboro, MD 21713.
