Anna "Ruth" Jones

Anna "Ruth" Jones, 87,of Frederick, MD, passed from this life on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Frederick Health Hospital in Frederick, MD.

Born on May 24, 1935, in Carroll County, MD she was the daughter of the late George Bedford Davis and Dora Della (Epperson) Davis.

She was the loving wife of the late James Fitzue Jones of 65 years.

Ruth was a devoted wife, mother,sister and daughter. She was a caregiver to all she met and approached life and people with a kind, gentle and loving heart. She was a pillar of strength, love and light to our family and she'll be forever missed!

She is survived by her son, Brian Keith Jones and wife Kelly; daughter, Kristen Dawn Hawes and sister, Mary Margaret Jones. She is also survived by many other dear family members.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Jones, and siblings; Hattie Fraley, Eleanor Pruitt, Florence Davis, Wayne Davis and Billie Mae Hamke.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church Cemetery, 24115 Laytonsville Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20885.
