ANNA HUMERICK

Mrs. Anna Humerick, 97, of Thurmont, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016, at Gettysburg Hospital in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. She was the wife of the late George E. Humerick
Born on October 30, 1918, she was the daughter of the late John and Goldie Phelps.
Mrs. Humerick was a member of Apples United Church of Christ. She retired after many years of service from Thurmont Shoe Company. Anna was an avid bingo player, enjoyed gardening and spending time with family.
She is survived by her children Yvonne Brown of Thurmont, Joyce Fleagle and husband Dick of Thurmont, George F. Humerick and wife Esther of Sabillasville, Larry (Luke) Humerick and wife Judy of Thurmont, and Wanda Stottlemyer of Thurmont, grandchildren Ricky, Susie, Little Luke, Lori, Melanie, Tina, Rhonda, and Jeff, 24 great grandchildren, 17 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandchildren Ginger and Lisa.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont, MD, Sunday, June 12, from 2-4 and 7-9:00 pm, where services will be held Monday, June 13, at 11:00 am with Pastor Sean Delawder officiating.
Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
