Mrs. Anna “Louise” Harris, 94 of Frederick, Maryland, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Carl C. Harris.
Born March 9, 1919 in Adamstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Emma V. Bruce Ambush.
Louise was a member of Ashbury United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, word search, baking caramel cakes ad picnics.
She is survived by her children Isabelle L. Harris of Frederick, Augustus C. Harris and wife Ruby of Mt. Airy, Carlwell C. Harris, Judith A. Hill both of Frederick and Bruce M. Harris and wife Delores of Libertytown, brothers and sisters Emmy Duckett, Wilson Ambush and wife Hortense, Elizabeth Morris, Dorothy Makel and Arnold Ambush and wife Marilyn. Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. She will also be remembered by her devoted friend Bea Thompson. She was preceded in death by two sons Daniel and Harold M. Harris.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Tuesday, May 28, from 10:00 am until service time at 11:00 a.m.
Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
