ANNA FITZGERALD

Mrs. Anna Mae Fitzgerald, 83, of Gaithersburg, Maryland, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Holy Cross Hospital. She was the wife of the late Anthony Fitzgerald.
Born January 9, 1933 in Meadowview, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph B. and Alcy Perry McCracken.
Anna missed her husband so much after his death, because he was her life. She enjoyed going to Myrtle Beach and taking care of her pets. In earlier years she was employed for many years at Safeway.
She is survived by her children Patricia Snyder and husband Kent of MD, and Jacqueline Thomas and husband Terry of VA, her grandchildren Terry Thomas and wife Heather of Indiana, William Snyder and Kristina Wiegand and husband Sam all of MD and great-great grandchildren Issak, McKenzie and Anthony Thomas. She was preceded in death by her sister Mary Willis.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Wednesday, April 13, from 2-4 and 6-8:00 pm, where services will be held Thursday, April 14, at 11:00 am
Interment Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
