Anna Bishop

Anna Mae Bishop, 83, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Homewood at Crumland Farms in Frederick.
Born on April 29, 1935, in Saint Louis, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Charles R. Heath, Lillian M. (Vernier) Vietor and step-father Charles A. Vietor. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Francis L. Bishop, on May 19, 2013.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was a great story teller and considered anyone she met a friend. She enjoyed playing games and spending time with her family.
Ann is survived by one daughter, Catherine MacInnes and husband, Joseph, of Frederick; one son, Charles Bishop and wife, Debbie of Prince Frederick, Maryland; four grandchildren, David Tucker, Christi Tucker, Lee Bishop and Nicki Bishop; and six great-grandchildren, Jaeden, Kaela, Gwen, J.R., Lah-Zahriah and Antonio.
A celebration of Anna's life will take place at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD. Rev. Tim May will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham, Maryland.
