Ann Howard

July 6, 1936 — April 27, 2015

Mrs. Ann E. Howard, 78, of Taneytown, MD went home to be with the Lord on April 27, 2015 at her home. She was the wife of the late Robert W. Howard, her loving husband of 51 years.

Born on July 6, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Theodore Moseley and Jane Moseley.

Ann co-owned and operated B&B Video from 1985-2011. Before owning the video store, she was employed with Grand Union for 20 years.

She loved to sing, dance, and be the life of every occasion. She loved all animals, especially her pets. She enjoyed hosting family gatherings and bringing the family together.

Ann had a great sense of humor and loved life and lived every day to the fullest. She loved her family and always put her family first. Above all, she was a thoughtful, loving, caring mother and always gave her children unconditional love.

In addition to her loving husband, Robert, who preceded her, she is joined with her late brother Theodore “Buddy” Moseley. She is survived by two sisters, Eileen Haggart and husband Ronald of Wheaton and Janie Simmons of Wheaton; one brother James Moseley and wife Mimi of Mt. Airy; four children, Linda Alexander and significant other John Jacobs of Brunswick, Robert Wayne Howard Jr. of Taneytown, William Bernard Howard and wife Cathy of Salisbury and Brenda Marie Cooper and husband Derick of Walkersville; nine grandchildren, Jamie DeMeza, Sean Demeza, Kaitlyn Howard, Robert Howard III, Megan Haines and husband Josh, Jessica Cooper, Emily Cooper, Allan James Begosh and wife Debbie and Kevin Begosh; seven great-grandchildren, Elaija, Jordan, Marley, Maddox, Gavin, Emersyn, Jaleigh and Koryn.

She will be especially remembered by her best friend and sister-in-law Linda Howard. She will also be remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.

A memorial service celebrating Ann’s life will be held on 2 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015 at St Pauls Evangelical Lutheran Church, 14 West Pennsylvania Avenue, Walkersville with Pastor Mark L. Foucart officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Children Hospital and Frederick County Humane Society.
