Ann B. Clipp, 97, of Frederick, MD, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2017, at home with her daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Clarke Alger, where she had lived for the past 9 ½ years. She was born on March 24, 1920, in Lakeside, Nebraska.
She was married for 50 years to the late Richard E. Clipp. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Ann "Patty" and son-in-law Clarke Alger; stepdaughter, Janine Clipp, Smithsburg; and her younger brother, Robert Laqua, Salem, OR. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Bradley (Kim) Alger and their children, Noah, Uriah, & PJ; and Brett (Carol) Alger and their children, Natalie, Olivia and Isabella. She was stepgrandmother to Kathy Osborn, Karen Cowden, Kelly Zimmerman, Donnie, Dave, and Doug Clipp, Robin Livingston, Wendy Stormes, and OB Clipp; and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Genevieve O’Bryon, Caroline Smith, and Josephine Hudgins; two stepsons, Eddie and Donnie; and grandson, Eddie Clipp, Jr.
Ann attended Emmanuel Alliance Church in Frederick.
There will be no public services.
