Ann Barnes

Mrs. Ann J. Barnes, 85, of Frederick passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
She was the loving wife of the late Alfred J. Barnes, who preceded her in death on March 18, 2014. They were married for 60 years.
Born July 23, 1931 in Pottsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Hazel Brecker.
Ann was a registered nurse who worked at Springfield Hospital and Citizens Nursing Home.
Ann is survived by six daughters, Cheryl DeLap (Donald), Charlene Barnes, Christine Stallings, Donna Righter, Robin Land (Warren) and Dwong Pardo; and one son, Brian Barnes (Beverly). She also is survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for family and close friends will begin at 1 p.m. on Monday, November 21, 2016 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 40 Fulton Ave., Walkersville. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until 1 pm.
Interment will be private.
