Anita Louise McKinley, of Frederick, Maryland died on Wednesday December 30, 2009 at Washington Adventist Hospital with her family by her side.
She also spent time with her family at her homes in Estero, Florida and Bedford, Pennsylvania. She lived in Frederick since 1984.
Anita was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania on January 5, 1954. She devoted her life to serving Jehovah as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on July 5, 1973.
On November 10, 1973 she married Robert B. McKinley IV of Hagerstown, Maryland.
Besides her husband of 36 years, she is survived by her parents Arnold and Evelyn Pavlik of Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
Other survivors include siblings: Sister Pauline Casavant of Richmond, Virginia; Brother Arnie Pavlik of Inwood, West Virginia; Sister Marjorie
Ramach and Sister Lauren Lee, both of Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
She is also survived by six children: Son Devek McKinley and wife Amber of Punta Gorda, Florida; Daughter Tirzah Callahan and husband Matthew of Frederick, Maryland, Son Erian McKinley and wife Joella of Hickory, North Carolina; Son Andris McKinley and wife Jessica of Fort Myers, Florida; Daughter Sienna McKinley; and Son Garet McKinley, both of Frederick, Maryland.
Additionally,she is survived by eight grandchildren: Grandson Trevor Callahan; Granddaughter Graycen McKinley; Granddaughter Malaney Callahan; Granddaughter Keira McKinley; Grandson Skylar McKinley; Granddaughter Aubrey McKinley; Grandson Landon McKinley; and
Granddaughter to be Baby Callahan.
Anita is preceded in death by her sister Brendy Pavlik.
Anita was a full-time mother, grandmother and loving wife. She also enjoyed her association with her many Christian friends in Maryland, Pennsylvania and more recently her new family of Christian friends in Florida. Anita enjoyed scrapbooking her many family memories with friends. Additionally, she was a beautiful seamstress, enjoyed singing and playing the piano. Anita will always be remembered for her warm smile and full embracing hugs.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 2, in the ballroom at the Holiday Inn on Holiday Drive adjacent to the FSK
Mall in Frederick, Maryland.
