Angelo Ramirez, 89, of Frederick MD, went to be with our Father in Heaven on Friday, November 2, 2012 due to complications resulting from a car accident. Angelo was born in New York City on Oct 2, 1923 to Josephina and Vincente Ramirez. Angelo grew up in New York during the great depression and graduated from the Industrial Art School. After serving his country in the army during World War II he spent 42 years as a lithographer with the US Government. He married Virginia Clark (Ginny) in 1974. He enjoyed a lifelong passion for photography, oil painting, sculpture, gardening, construction and residential design, and actively pursued these interests. He designed and constructed four of the homes his family lived in. He enjoyed singing and Latin music. He was the father of April, Ricardo, Mark, and grandfather of Trevor, Heather, Mindy, Rachael, Robbie, Anne, Kristina, and has two great grandchildren. He was stepfather to Jim, Linda, and step grandfather to Gordon, Emily and Rebecca and has two step great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother James and sister Ida. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 1:00pm on November 19, 2012 in the chapel at Homewood of Crumland Farms, 7407 Willow Rd Frederick MD 21702.
