Mr. Angelo Vincent Puglisi, "Daddy-Boy", 90, of Frederick, MD passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Northampton Manor. He was the beloved husband of Audrey Puglisi for 70 years.
Born on June 7, 1924 in Washington, D.C. he was the son of the late Pasquale and Pauline Rao Puglisi.
Angelo was one of five children. Prior to his retirement he worked as a Printer for Judd and Detweiler. Angelo was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was very kind and generous and always willing to help anyone in need. In his spare time he enjoyed cooking, gardening and going to the beach and casino. Daddy-Boy was loved by all.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Patricia Puglisi of Frederick, Diana Brown and husband Ken of Germantown and Deborah Staniford and husband Mark of Frederick; six granddaughters and fifteen great-grandchildren; sister Nancy of Damascus.
He is preceded in death by his siblings Nino, Grace and Lawrence.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home,1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 2-3PM where a memorial service will begin at 3PM. Ryan Nakielny will officiate.
Interment will be private.
