Angela "Angie" Hillman

Angela "Angie" Dawn Hillman, 47, of Mt. Airy died unexpectedly Wednesday, January 24, 2018. She was the wife of James Hillman.

Born November 18, 1970 in Norton, VA, she was the daughter of Eric Stephen Cawthon and Sandra Kay (Miller) Cawthon of Laurel, MD.

Angie was a preschool teacher at Celebree of Mt. Airy. Prior to that she was a stay at home mom to her three daughters for 12 years.

Angie was an active member of St. Michael Catholic Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher. She loved Disney World, Mickey Mouse, the color purple, and listening to Prince and Maroon 5.

She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her husband and parents, Angie is survived by her three daughters Natalie Frances, Grace Elizabeth and Julia Michelle; her brother, Eric Stephen Cawthon, Jr., of Laurel, MD; two grandmothers and Betty Herren and Ella Cawthon; and many additional extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 29 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 1125 St. Michael's Road, Mt. Airy.

Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery.
