Mrs. Angela Marie (Shry) Penn, 36, of Mt. Airy, Maryland passed away peacefully at home on May 27, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born July 9, 1978 in Frederick, MD to Teresa McDonough and the late Billy Shry.
She was the wife of the late Donnie Penn and devoted mother to Hayden.
Angie grew up in Mt. Airy and graduated from Linganore High School in 1996.
Angie enjoyed coaching her daughter's Poms Squad and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter Hayden and siblings Jennifer, Samantha, David and Billy Shry Jr. and her beloved Grandmother Frances McDonough. She will be fondly remembered by her aunts and uncles Vickie and Gary, Kenny and Peggy, Tommy and Kim, Dawn and Mike. Extended family including Don and Betty, Jeanne, Margaret, Wendi and David and Emma. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM on Friday, May 29, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy where funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 30.
Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick
In lieu of flowers an education fund has been set up for her daughter "The Hayden Penn Education Fund" at Damascus Community Bank, 26500 Ridge Road, Damascus, MD 20872.
