Andrew White

Mr. Andrew Taylor White, 36, of Hanover, PA, formerly of Frederick, died unexpectedly on Friday, May 5, 2017 at his home.

Born February 2, 1981 in Olney, he was the son of William and Cheryl (Carleton) White.

Andrew was in the first graduating class at Urbana High School in 1999. He was active in the marching band and the drama department. Following graduation, he continued his education by receiving his bachelor's degree in business with a minor in religion from the former Western Maryland College, now known as McDaniel College.

He was currently working as a claim's processor for the Social Security Administration. Prior to that, he was a mortgage broker.

Andrew enjoyed deep sea fishing, working on and owning historic military vehicles, and spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his aunts and uncles, Margaret Oberlander and husband, Richard; Connie Nelson and husband, Robert; and Dr. Carla Carleton; as well as many cousins and good friends.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2017 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, where funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Sandi Phillips of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Urbana.

Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
