Andrew Joseph Schofield, 24 of Mt. Airy passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2011.
Born June 2, 1987 in Washington, DC he was the son of Lisa and Edward Puckett of Mt. Airy.
Andrew graduated from South Carroll High School in 2005. He was currently employed with the Town of Mt. Airy and he previously worked with the Montgomery County Public Schools.
Andrew raced Motor Cross, enjoyed working out, listening to music and playing video games. In his younger years he wrestled for the Mt. Airy Mustangs and played football and baseball.
Andrew will be loved and missed by all that knew him. He will always be his mom’s little “Epee”.
In addition to his loving parents Lisa and Ed, he is survived by his son, Braiden Schofield and Braiden’s mother Gabrielle Cottone, three brothers, Joshua Schofield, Austin Puckett and Jacob Puckett all of Mt. Airy, grandparents, Gary and Carolyn Hensley of Laruel, Maryland, grandmother, Nadine Hensley of Georgia, his girlfriend, Jackie O’Donell, special aunt Donna McCuin, numerous aunts uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by two grandmothers, Ruby Hensley and Helen Quiqley.
A memorial service will be held at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy at 1:00pm on Sunday December 4, 2011 where the family will be present to receive friends from 12:00-1:00. Rev. Lloyd Fuss will officiate.
