Amy Kauffman Lyles went home to be with the Lord after a long and courageous battle with cancer, on Thursday, October 10, 2013. Born on May, 15, 1972, Amy loved to shake a tail feather with friends, going to the beach, traveling and shopping at Target. She was a lucky card player and above all else enjoyed being a "second mom" to Amaya, Aiden, Ava, and Tevin.
Amy leaves behind her father George Kauffman; brother Michael and wife Tammy Kauffman; brother Patrick and wife Alexa Kauffman; sister Lori Kauffman Seraton and husband Jermaine; nieces and nephews Cody and Arleet, Cassidy, Aiden, and Ava; great niece Caylee, countless family members and loved ones in Pennsylvania and extended family Tammy Bowers, Amy, Curtis and Tevin Edwards, and Nancy, Patrick and Kelly Wilner.
Amy is preceded in death by her mother Barbara Kauffman and niece Amaya Seraton.
The family will receive friends at Frederick Christian Fellowship Church, 10142 Hansonville Road, Frederick on Saturday, October 12, from 11:00 am until service time at 12:00 Noon.
