Amy Elizabeth Davis, of Frederick, MD, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 5, 2010. She was the wife of William J. Davis, who died in 1980.
Born on July 19, 1916, she was the daughter of Florence and Clarkson Kelly, of Frederick, MD.
She was a member of The Church of the Open Door and the Royal Blue Sunday School Class of Westminster, Md. She lived in Melbourne, Florida, for 20 years before moving back to Frederick in 1996. Prior to moving to Florida, she was a member of Calvary
United Methodist Church in Frederick.
She enjoyed traveling, bowling, volunteering at the Food Bank and belonged to several Senior Citizens’ Centers.
Surviving are three children, James Davis and wife Jane of Flower
Mound, Texas; Diane Stull and husband Cleon of Frederick; Clark Davis and wife Virginia of Frederick; four grandchildren, Kelly Stull, Trisha Gaskill and husband Travis, Brian Davis, and Jason Davis and wife Mary Ann; one foster granddaughter, Theresa Berkoski and husband Dan; five great grandchildren, Cassidy Davis, Isabella Davis, Zachary Davis, Austin Gaskill and Joshua Gaskill; one foster great granddaughter Kayleigh Berkoski, one sister, Sylvia Bennett and husband Stanley.
She is predeceased in death by a brother, Guy Kelly, and a sister, Pauline Nestleroad.
The family would like to thank Heartfields of Frederick for all their care and love while she lived there.
A Memorial service will be held at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Wednesday, December 8, 2010, at 11:00a.m. Rev. Harry C. Cole will be officiating. Friends may call an hour before the service.
Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery .
