Amaya Seraton

July 17, 2003 — February 21, 2012

Amaya Jean Seraton, 8, became the most exquisite angel on February 21st 2012. While Amaya left this world  unexpectedly, she was surrounded by those who love her as she made her way to heaven.
Amaya was a special and wonderfully loving girl. She was generous with her hugs, much to her baby sister's  chagrin. Nonetheless, she was a tremendous big sister to her brother Aiden and sister Ava. Her motherly nature even at the tender age of 8 made her a fantastic helper to her parents. She loved to swim, play soccer, go to the
beach, play with her American girl dolls, and most of all to eat. Her favorite foods were food, more food, "can I have some of that?" "You gonna eat that?" and "I'm hungry."

Everyone that met Amaya instantly fell in love with her. Her gentle and loving spirit made her a friend to all.  She never ever gave up on anything and her and her passion for life was one to be modeled by others.

Amaya's maternal grandmother, Barbara Kauffman and paternal grandfather, Manzie Seraton welcomed her to heaven. Family members who will live on and love on for her are her parents, Jermaine and Lori Seraton, brother Aiden (age 6),sister Ava (age 2), two half-brothers, Najay and Alejah Seraton, paternal grandmother, maternal grandfather George Kauffman,  Annette McGregor, aunts and uncles, Amy Kauffman Lyles, Pat and Alexa Kauffman, Michael and Tammy Kauffman, Charmaine Seraton, John Wayne Seraton, Gary Seraton, Christina Stevenson, and Lance Buchanan, cousins Cody and Cassidy Kauffman, special extended family, The Bowers, Nanny and Pappy, Tammy Bowers,
Amy Edwards, and Tevin Edwards, and finally many other family members and friends.

Dearest Amaya, while we are sad to see you go, we are fortunate to have you watching over us. Enjoy those new wings young lady. You have indeed earned them.
