Amanda Crawford

Amanda Nicole Crawford, 19, of Sharpsburg, Maryland, passed from this life on Saturday, April 7, 2017 at Meritus Health Care Center in Hagerstown, Maryland.

Born on December 29, 1997, at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Towson, Maryland, she was the daughter of Kevin Paul Crawford and Djuna Lynn (Johnson) Crawford.
Amanda grew up in Taneytown, Maryland and attended Runnymeade Elementary School until the age of 9, where a forever special bond was formed with her 1 on 1, Miss Patty.  Amanda was then home schooled by her loving mother, (Ma) Djuna.
Some of Amanda's favorite foods consisted of McDonald's, popcorn and cheese.  She loved spending time with her family, camping, watching Blues Clues, Barney, Sponge Bob and the Three Stooges.  Amanda also loved spending time with her grandparents and her uncle, Chris, who would let Amanda get away with anything and everything.

Amanda was preceded in death by her grandmother, Linda Maryland Johnson and her grandfather, Mervin Ovid Crawford, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Burnside First Church of God, 3904 Mills Road in Sharpsburg, Maryland. A celebration of Amanda's life journey will follow at 12:00 p.m.
