Amanda Brant

Amanda Michelle Brant, 25, loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, and friend to all she met, formerly of Keedysville, Maryland, and most recently of Thurmont, Maryland, passed away from this life on Sunday, July 27, 2014.
Born on July 8, 1989, in Takoma Park, Maryland, she is the daughter of Francine (Gentile) Brant of Frederick, Maryland, and William "Matthew" Brant and his wife, Kimberly K. of Hagerstown, Maryland.
Amanda attended the Boonsboro Schools in Boonsboro, Maryland.
Most recently, she worked for the Potomac Center in Hagerstown. Amanda was very passionate about her work and took great pride in what she did.
Amanda will forever be remembered by her family and friends as a carefree and free-spirited young lady with a contagious smile who loved being with her friends and family, the outdoors, animals of all kinds, hula hooping, and was known for her beautiful writing of poetry.
In addition to her parents, Amanda is survived by her sister, Sarah Brant of Frederick; two step-sisters, Amber Morris of Frederick and Ashleigh Morris of Hagerstown; and her paternal grandparents, William and Delores Brant of Keedysville. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Amanda was preceded in death by her step-brother, Stevie Morris, II; and her maternal grandparents, Mario Gentile and Ann Salvan.
A memorial service in memory of Amanda will be announced at a later date.
