Alysha Dennings

November 9, 1968 — February 28, 2025

Alysha Ann Dennings-Georg was born in Cleveland, OH, on November 9, 1968. She was raised in Annandale, VA, by her loving mother, Lola Blevins Kane. She attended Annandale High School, graduating in 1987. On February 28, 2025, at the age of 56, Alysha was suddenly and tragically taken from this world far too soon, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.

Alysha was the heart of her family—the glue that held everyone together. She had a gift for making people feel seen, heard, and valued. No matter the time or place, she was always there with an open heart and a listening ear, offering comfort, wisdom, and unconditional love. She put others before herself without hesitation, embodying selflessness in its purest form.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—spending time with her children, talking with friends, reading novels, watching movies, playing video games, and connecting with people through social media. She especially cherished her daily chats with her mom, finding comfort and joy in their conversations. She also adored her dogs and found solace in their companionship.

In 2017, Alysha relocated to Frederick, Maryland, where she built a beautiful life with her husband, John Georg. Though they had known of each other in high school, their true love story began in 2015. From that moment on, their bond grew into a deep and passionate connection, one that remained unwavering until the day she took her last breath. John was not only her husband but her best friend, partner, and greatest love.

Alysha’s legacy lives on through those she loved most: her mother Lola Blevins Kane, her stepfather Thomas Kane, her four children and their significant others, Brittani (Nathaniel), Austin (Vanesa), James (Megan), her youngest Lola (Garrett), and her precious first-ever granddaughter Evelyn (Luna), Austin’s daughter, her devoted husband John Georg, her children’s father Charles Dennings, and her two beloved fur babies, Bella and Bentley.

Alysha was a beautiful woman with an even more beautiful soul. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will never be forgotten. She touched the lives of so many, and though she is gone far too soon, her spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
