Alwilda Gardner

Mrs. Alwilda Marie Gardner, 75, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016 at her home. She was the beloved wife of James D. Gardner for 57 years. Born July 31, 1941 in Washington, D.C. she was the daughter of the late Karl and Bertha Dehn.
Alwilda was a Teacher’s Aide for the Montgomery County Public Schools and loved gardening and traveling following her retirement, especially her annual trips to the St. Johns and Myrtle Beach.
In addition to her husband, Alwilda is survived by her children Stephen, Donna and Wesley, daughter-in-laws Kathleen and Terri, her wonderful grandchildren Sean, Michael, Ryan and Kellen, and siblings Karl Dehn Jr. and Betty Rosenbaum.
She is preceded in death by her lifelong friend, Martha Kayhoe.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home,1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 9:30AM-10:30AM where a service will begin at 10:30AM. Pastor Myungha Baek will officiate.
Interment with her immediate family will follow at 1PM at Glenwood Cemetery in Washington, D.C.
