Alma Berzonsky

Mrs. Alma Pearl Berzonsky, 97, of Frederick, MD passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Homewood at Crumland Farms. She was the beloved wife for 62 years of the late Peter Berzonsky.
Born July 5, 1920, in Floyd County, KY she was the daughter of the late Joseph H. and Lydia S. Davidson.
Alma was a devote Christian and member of the First Baptist Church in Rockville, MD. She later attended South End Baptist Church in Frederick, Md. She had a long-term career in administration with Montgomery County Public Schools in Maryland. Throughout her life she enjoyed traveling, documenting her travels, telling stories, gathering with family, crocheting, crafts, and reading. Alma prided herself in being well put together, she was a kind, witty, sharp and inspiringly strong person who consistently extended an authentically friendly smile. She was a loving and giving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt who will be missed greatly by her family, as well as her friends.
She is survived by her daughter Linda Renee Patterson of Clarksburg, MD; two grandchildren Christie Lynn Patterson of Urbana, MD and W. Troy Patterson of Martinsburg, WV and great-grandson W. Brock Patterson of Charles Town, WV.
She is preceded in death by her husband Peter Berzonsky, brother Joseph H. Davidson, Jr. sister Ethel V. Adams and son-in-law William B. Patterson, Jr.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 2, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Mt. Olivet in their Mausoleum, 515 S. Market Street, Frederick, Maryland.
