Alice Robertson
November 22, 1935 — November 15, 2019
Mrs. Alice M. Robertson, 83, of Frederick died Friday, November 15, 2019 at Sunrise Assisted Living, where she had been a resident for the last few years. She was the wife of the late Earl Thomas Robertson, who predeceased her in June of 2011. They were married for 55 years.
Born November 22, 1935 in New Midway, she was the daughter of the late Roger and Hilda (Wetzel) Fogle.
She was a graduate of Frederick High School, class of 1953.
Alice worked for 42 years at Hood College in many administrative duties, with the last being Assistant Registrar. Additionally, she loved gardening and her pets.
She is survived by her daughter, Valerie DeGrange and husband, Donald, of Tucson, Arizona; her sister, Evelyn Wilcom; one niece; three nephews, and her beloved cat, Libby.
She was predeceased by a sister, Betty Lee.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, with a funeral service to begin at 11 a.m. Rev. Tim May will officiate.
Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
