Alice Montanez

Mrs. Alice Montanez, 55, of Frederick, MD., passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Georgetown University Hospital. She was the wife of Justo “Monti” Montanez.

Born February 4, 1956 in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of Carlos and Alacia Zayas of Puerto Rico.

Mrs. Montanez enjoyed spending time with her family, music, her dogs Pupcake and Jalo and watching the Yankees and Giants.

I n addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her children Alice Marie Lindsey and husband John of Monrovia, Justo Luis Montanez, II and David Rafael Montanez both of Frederick, three grandchildren Emily Joy, Melanie Marie and Hannah Rose Lindsey and a brother David Zayas.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Tuesday, August 30, from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. where service will be held Wednesday, August 31, at 11:00 am wife Father Miguel Mateo officiating.
