Alice Cunfer

Mrs. Alice Helen Cunfer, 82, of Walkersville, died Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at her home with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of 58 years to the late Donald Wallace Cunfer, who predeceased her on October 21, 2012.

Born October 18, 1931 in Long Island, NY, she was the daughter of the late Adolph and Helen Mulroy Kahlstrom.

Alice enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading and nature. She also contributed to various wildlife funds over the years.

She was the last of her immediate family.

Mrs. Cunfer is survived by two daughters, Christine Trullson and husband, Neal, of Walkersville, and Patricia Anderson and husband, John, of Woodsboro; and four grandchildren, Adam Anderson, Zachary Anderson, Dillon Trullson and wife, Natalia, and Jenna Trullson.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Trevor Neal Trullson.

Alice was a devoted daughter, mother and grandmother. Her loving care of her family was an inspiration.

Services will be private and at a later day.
