Alexander Crawford

Alexander Ryan Crawford, 24, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 28th in his home in Urbana, MD.

Standing at 6’ 5", Alex was in all ways larger than life and a force to be reckoned with. He had a heart of gold and a smile that would always light up the room. He loved basketball, music, his dog, Buddy, and his family and friends.

Alex was loved deeply and will be missed dearly by his mother, Kristy Buls Crawford, father and stepmother, Wayne and Diedra Crawford, siblings, Justin and Eleanor Crawford. Among many other grieving family members he leaves behind his beloved grandparents, Paul and Dorothy Crawford, Aunt Carol and Uncle Rick Wilson, Aunt Kim and Uncle Chris Soulen, Aunt Jill and Uncle Richard Buls, plus loving cousins Michael and Erin Soulen, Jessica and Katie Soulen, Samantha and Erica Buls, Jake and Ana Soulen, and Monica and Keith Wilson. Alex has now crossed the Rainbow Bridge and is enjoying time with Buddy.

Also suffering from this terrible loss is the love of Alex’s life, Samantha Denney, plus countless friends.

A Celebration of Life for Alex Crawford will be held on Saturday, June 4th, from 5 - 7 pm at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD. Dress is comfortable, and Alex’s friends are welcome to wear his favorite attire, gym shorts and tees.
