Alexander Jacob Centeno, age 19 on Thursday, June 23, 2016 of Mt. Airy, MD. Beloved father of Adelina M. Centeno; loving son of Jamie D. Hanratty and Steven Centeno; brother of Lauren E. Hanratty, Gavin and Landon Centeno; grandson of Shelley D. Ellington and Milton M. Snyder and Hector and the late Maria Centeno; stepson of Sean P. Hanratty and Kristina Centeno; stepgrandson of Daniel G. Ellington; stepbrother of Karlissa Goddard; nephew of the late SSGT Travis M. Snyder, USMC; also survived by Adelina's mother Gracen L. Javage.
Alex played 5 years for the undefeated EPYL 49'ers football team, was a Redskins fan, soccer coach, and loved family gatherings and vacations. He was attending college for Web Design.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD on Tuesday, July 5, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm with funeral service on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 11 am. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in the form of a check, to Adelina Centeno, Alex's daughter, for her college fund.
