Mr. Alex Clayton Schmidt, 19, of Mt.Airy, died on Saturday July 24, 2010, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Born on May 28, 1991 in Henderson, Nevada he was the son of Darwin D. Schmidt of Mt. Airy and the late Deborah Lynn McBride Schmidt who died on October 28, 2007.
Also surviving is a brother Phillip D. Schmidt of Mt.Airy. Paternal grandparents Delbert D. and Wilda C. Schmidt of Ft. Morgan, Colorado. Uncle Kevin McBride and wife Kristi of Oklahoma, Aunt Connie Mese and husband Greg of Colorado, Aunt Adell Burge of San Diego, CA, and Uncle Andy Klinkerman and wife Twana of Colorado.
Also survived by nine cousins. Alex was preceded in death by his Maternal grandparents Bill McBride and Patricia Brewer.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00pm on Friday July 30, 2010, at the MontgomeryUnitedMethodistChurch, 28325 Kemptown Road, Damascus, MD. Interment will be private.
