Albert Scotto

Albert A. Scotto, 75, longtime resident of Windsor Locks, CT passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, in Sykesville, MD. Albert was born October 28, 1940, in Hartford, CT the son of the late Aurelio and Katherine (Barbieri) Scotto.  Albert lived in Windsor Locks most of his life and moved to Maryland in 2013.  He proudly served in the United States Army National Guard. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed gardening and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He retired from Pratt & Whitney of East Hartford after 40 years of work. Albert is survived by two daughters: Katherine Kerlejza and her husband, Kevin of Unionville, CT.;Kara Bonfils and her husband, John of Mount Airy, MD; five grandchildren; a brother David Scotto (Rose); and a sister Donna Kupernick. A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring Street, Windsor Locks. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.
