Albert Limbrick

Mr. Albert Colton Limbrick, 76, of New Market, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Helen Cherkasky Limbrick.

Born November 11, 1933 in Fredericksburg, VA, he was the son of the late Albert Colton, Sr and Christine McCarthy Limbrick.

Mr. Limbrick was a 1955 graduate of the University of Richmond. He served his Country in the U.S. Air Force, going on active duty with the Strategic Air Command USAF as a Bombadier Navigator, and eventually rose to the rank of Captain. He was a member of the American Legion Post #0290. Albert had a 32-year career as a dedicated civil servant with the Social Security Administration. In earlier years he enjoyed woodworking and later in life, crossword puzzles, reading, playing bridge, and gardening.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his devoted children, Laura Limbrick of Denver, CO, Debbie Rosmarin and husband Adam of Urbana, MD, and Elizabeth Limbrick of Belmar, NJ, and two grandchildren Lexi and Lauren Rosmarin, He was preceded in death by a sister Nancy Limbrick Blasko.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD on Friday, July 16, from 7 - 9 p.m., where services will be held Saturday, July 17 at 11:00 am

Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
